This documentary shows the real impact of the Eaton Fire and how it changed people’s lives. It highlights the fear during evacuation and the struggles that came after, like losing homes, dealing with stress, and trying to rebuild. It also shows concerns about the community changing because of outside developers. Overall, it focuses on the strength of the people in Altadena and their effort to stay united and rebuild their community. Because of its strong storytelling and emotional impact, the film won Best Documentary at the A/V Awards. It received a perfect 15/15 vote from judges out of over 100 submissions, making it the highest-scoring documentary ever in the program.
